2027: Makinde meets EU ambassador, European envoys in Abuja

The Oyo State Governor and Allied People’s Movement, APM, presidential aspirant, Seyi Makinde, has met with the European Union (EU) Ambassador to Nigeria and ECOWAS, Gautier Mignot, and ambassadors from 16 EU member states in Abuja.

Makinde disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.

He said discussions at the meeting focused on ongoing international development cooperation initiatives between the EU and Nigeria, current affairs and the future of the country.

His post reads “This morning, we met with the European Union Ambassador to Nigeria and ECOWAS, His Excellency @GautierMignot2 as well as Ambassadors from 16 member states in Abuja.

“Our discussions centred on ongoing international development cooperation initiatives between the @EUinNigeria and Nigeria, current affairs and the future of Nigeria.”
