Legendary music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his estranged wife, Annie, have sparked fresh reconciliation rumors after refollowing each other on Instagram.
According to online checks by Vanguard, the former couple, who had previously unfollowed each other on the platform, restored their digital connection on Monday.
The social media activity has fueled widespread speculation among fans, with many interpreting the move as a sign of mending relations following their high-profile split.
Neither 2Baba nor Annie has issued an official statement confirming a reconciliation or a change in their marital status.
The development comes over a year after 2Baba publicly announced in January 2025 that the couple had separated and were filing for divorce.
Though the initial announcement was briefly deleted due to claims of a compromised account, the singer later confirmed he was responsible for the statement. He subsequently married Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
The pair’s high-profile history dates back to the early years of 2Baba’s career, highlighted by Annie’s appearance in his iconic “African Queen” music video. The couple married in 2013 across two ceremonies in Akwa Ibom State and Dubai, and later renewed their vows in 2023 for their 10th anniversary.
Despite undergoing public crises over the years, their latest online interaction has renewed discussions among observers regarding their current relationship status.
