The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 33 ships carrying petroleum products, food items, and other goods are expected at Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea Port, and Tin Can Island Port in Lagos.

The NPA disclosed this on its Daily Shipping Position on Wednesday.

It said that 10 of the expected ships contained containers of different goods; 20 ships are to berth with bulk urea, petrol, general cargo, crude oil, petrol, aviation fuel, diesel, fresh fish and bulk wheat.

Meanwhile, it also noted that nine ships and tankers had arrived at the three ports, waiting to berth with petrol, bulk wheat, general cargo, diesel, fresh fish, containers, and crude oil.

According to NPA, 25 ships are presently discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, containers, petrol, diesel, crude oil, aviation fuel, millet, repair, and bulk sugar at Lekki Deep Sea Port, Apapa and Tincan Island port.
