Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

A young boy rescued from bandits in Tsaskiya Forest, Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State, is currently awaiting reunion with his family.

According to a public appeal shared on X by Bakatsine (@DanKatsina50), the boy was abducted by bandits and later abandoned in the forest.

“The boy was rescued after the Dutsin-Ma LGA Peace Committee successfully negotiated his release. He says his name is Aliyu, his father is Bilya, and his mother is Amina. He also said he is from Dogon Dawa in Birnin Gwari LGA, Kaduna State,” the post read.

The boy is currently being kept by C-Watch in Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State, while efforts are being made to locate his relatives.

“If you recognise this boy or know anyone who may be related to him, please help notify his relatives so they can come and take him home,” the post added.
