Euromatch NPFL: Katsina United, Enyimba set for Friday night showdown

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Katsina United will welcome Enyimba to the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium on Friday night in a Matchday Eight fixture of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The encounter will be the second Friday night fixture of the 2026/27 NPFL season, after Shooting Stars edged Inter Lagos 2-1 in the first game played on a Friday night.

Katsina United will be looking to return to winning ways after failing to secure victory in their last two league outings. The Chanji Boys were held to a 1-1 draw by Rivers United before playing out another 1-1 draw against Inter Lagos last weekend.

Enyimba, on the other hand, have shown significant improvement following their difficult start to the campaign.

The People’s Elephant are unbeaten in their last three league matches, recording two wins and a draw in that period.

Emmanuel Deutsch’s men will be aiming to maintain their impressive run of form when they face Katsina United in what promises to be a keenly contested encounter.
