NPFL: Shooting Stars won’t give up despite winless streak – Gbolagade

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Shooting Stars defender Adelowo Gbolagade has appealed to fans of the club to keep supporting the team despite their poor run of form, DAILY POST reports.

The Oluyole Warriors have managed only one win from their last six league matches.

Gbolagade made the appeal in a statement posted on his X account on Thursday.

The centre-back acknowledged that the fans have the right to feel angry and frustrated over the results.

“We know this is a difficult moment, and we understand your anger, disappointment and frustration,” Adelowo wrote on X.

“We feel it too. But we want you to know that we are not giving up.

“We are hurting, but we are also determined to fight harder and make things right. Your support means everything to us.”

Shooting Stars will face Kun Khalifat FC in Owerri in their next league fixture.
