Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has appointed eight commissioner nominees to serve in his administration for the remaining months of his tenure.
The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, announced the appointments while reading the governor’s letter during plenary in Lafia on Wednesday.
The Speaker listed the new commissioners as Muhammad Habeeb Nagogo from Wamba Local Government Area, Ahmed Yakubu Mohammed from Lafia Local Government Area, and Hon. Mohammed Baba Shehu from Keffi Local Government Area.
Others are “Hon. Mohammed Iyimoga Oyigye (Obi LGA), Adamu Rabecca Kpadji (Wamba LGA), Nawani Aboki (Doma LGA), Jibril Abdullahi Ibrahim FCNA (Nasarawa LGA) and Ashefo Daniel Paul from Lafia LGA,” he said.
The Speaker directed the Clerk of the House to notify the nominees to submit 30 copies of their curriculum vitae and appear for screening on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the State House of Assembly.
