Mahama orders GH¢2 cut in diesel price to avert transport fare hikes

President John Dramani Mahama has directed a temporary GH cent;2. 00 reduction in the regulatory margin on diesel as part of measures to cushion consumers and prevent an increase in transport fares. The intervention, which takes effect on Tuesday, August 4, will remain in force for one month unless reviewed by the government.
