NPFL: Barau FC set to sign free agent Adekunle Samuel

Adekunle Samuel is on the verge of joining Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Barau FC.

Samuel is reported to have agreed personal terms with the Kano-based club.

The defender left Nasarawa United at the end of last season.

Samuel helped the Solid Miners finish in the top half at the 2025-26 NPFL season.

He is expected to play an important role for Barau FC next season.

Barau FC will be featuring in the NPFL for the consecutive season following their promotion two years ago.
