NPFL: Deutsch warns Enyimba must remain humble despite unbeaten run

Daily Post about 3 hours 2 mins read

Enyimba technical adviser, Emmanuel Deutsch, says his side will not get carried away ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday eight clash with Katsina United.

The People’s Elephant have recorded two wins and one draw from their last three league matches.

Deutsch insisted that his team will not get carried away with the recent impressive results.

“We will not be carried away because of results from our past three matches. We will take it one game at a time, as it comes,” Deutsch was quoted by the club’s media.

“We will not be carried away because the league is a marathon. We will see what Friday brings. We are ready for the match today,” he added.

The experienced tactician also charged his players to remain professional and focused on overcoming challenges in the NPFL.

“Challenges are normal. But if you let the distractions to carry you away, that means you’re not a professional.

“You should leave everything behind and focus on the job. When you focus on your duty, you plan and you see results,” he said.

Enyimba will lock horns with Katsina United in a matchday eight encounter at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina on Friday (today).
