Kano Pillars technical adviser, Daniel Ogunmodede has reacted to his team’s impressive home victory over Doma United.
The Sai Masu Gida inflicted a 4-1 defeat on Doma United in a Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday four encounter at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano on Sunday.
The defeat was Doma United’s first in the NPFL this season, while Pillars are yet to taste defeat.

Doma United scored through Sadiq Rilwan in the second half.
Ogunmodede stated that the keenly contested encounter lived up to expectations.
“We expected a tough game because they have gone three matches unbeaten with nine points and never conceded but we prepared very well for them,” Ogunmodede told the club’s media.
“Not playing last weekend gave us an ample opportunity to prepare more for them and no doubt, you could see they gave us a tough time.”
The four-time champions moved to third position on the table following the win.
