One of Arsenal’s shortlisted players will tonight hope to win the PFA Men’s Players’ Player of the Year award.
DAILY POST reports that the 53rd annual PFA Awards Ceremony will take place at The Opera House in Manchester.
David Raya, Declan Rice and Gabriel Magalhaes have all made the six-man shortlist for the Men’s Players’ Player of the Year award.
They will battle Manchester City pair Rayan Cherki and Erling Haaland, as well as Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.
All three Gunners made seismic contributions to the club’s first league title since 2004.
In the women’s category, Arsenal forward Alessia Russo is the sole nominee as she looks to follow in the footsteps of last season’s recipient, Mariona Caldentey.
The other five players in the running for that award are Manchester City’s Bunny Shaw, Manchester United’s Jess Park, Aston Villa’s Kirsty Hanson, Chelsea’s Lauren James and Manchester City’s Yui Hasegawa.
