Police arrest 19-year old ‘robbery’ suspect after midnight hot chase

A swift response by Police has led to the arrest of a 19-year old robbery suspect after a man was attacked and robbed in the Asabi area in Kumasi. The incident occurred around 12:20 a. m. on July 21, 2026 when the Asokore Mampong night patrol team received reports that an adult male had been robbed of his mobile phone and left unconscious near the Presbyterian Church at Asabi.
