SSEGUKU KATALE — Queen Birungi Amber Grace delivered an inspiring address to learners at Bright Sparks Junior School during the institution’s Prom Party, urging them to take their education seriously, cultivate personal discipline, and make principled choices.
Serving as the Guest of Honor, the youth advocate and former pageant queen called on pupils to set ambitious goals, guard against negative peer pressure, and avoid drug abuse. She highlighted that academic success requires both focused hard work and continuous moral responsibility, encouraging students to embrace environmental conservation, honor family values, and uphold active citizenship as they grow into future leaders.
Beyond her work in beauty pageantry and entertainment, Birungi continues to leverage her public platform to promote youth empowerment, sustainable tourism, and positive social values across young communities. During her speech, she shared her personal ambition to pursue a degree in Law at Harvard University, emphasizing her desire to acquire the skills necessary to become a steadfast advocate for the voiceless and marginalized.
Reflecting on her own journey, Birungi credited her discipline, achievements, and strong moral foundation to the guidance and unwavering support of her mother,
Dr. Olive Enid Nabiryo. She also extended warm appreciation to Bright Sparks Junior School for its dedicated role in nurturing well-rounded, disciplined, and talented learners. Pointing to a personal connection with the school, she noted that her younger brother,
Malcolm Crown, began his academic journey at Bright Sparks, gaining the firm educational grounding that continues to serve him today.
