Daily Post 15 minutes 1 mins read

Isabell Idibia, daughter of actress Annie Idibia and music icon 2Baba, has opened up about the close relationship between her mother and celebrity stylist Swanky Jerry.

Speaking during an interview on Yanga FM 89.9 Lagos, the teenager dismissed suggestions that the friendship was only for public appearances, insisting that the bond between Annie and Swanky was genuine.

According to Isabell, the pair maintain a close personal relationship beyond social media and red-carpet events.

“They are actually close; it is not just for the camera. Sometimes they are even on FaceTime. He was at the house some time ago, but I was asleep and couldn’t see him. That is my Uncle Swanky,” she said.

The interview also touched on her relationship with her famous father, 2Baba. When asked about her favourite song from the singer’s extensive catalogue, Isabell singled out the hit track “Nfanga Ibaga” as her top choice.
