An AA faction questioned INEC over Omo-Aje’s candidacy, alleging he was involved in the SDP campaign in the South-West. We have not independently verified the allegation or located a response from Omo-Aje by publication.

The AAC announced the inauguration of Sowore’s presidential campaign council, with directorates for policy, grassroots mobilisation, digital media and election operations.
Atiku Abubakar
African Democratic Congress (ADC):
The ADC inaugurated the campaign council for the Atiku Abubakar–Rotimi Amaechi ticket in Abuja on Friday. At the launch, Atiku proposed targeted, capped and independently audited support for locally refined petrol, and criticised the Federal Government’s 30-day fuel discount. He also accused President Tinubu of adopting his proposal.
Bola Tinubu
All Progressives Congress (APC):
APC supporters held a rally in Lafia, Nasarawa State, in support of Tinubu’s re-election bid. The party’s Presidential Campaign Council is due to be inaugurated on 14 October, ahead of a campaign flag-off in Kaduna on 24 October. The APC also announced a women’s mobilisation effort, with organisers setting a target of 40 million voters.
Oluseyi Makinde
Allied Peoples Movement (APM):
At an APM town hall in Yola on Saturday, Makinde pledged to serve one four-year term if elected, describing his proposed administration as a transitional government of national unity. His campaign also held a mobilisation meeting with APM candidates and leaders in Lagos, and announced South-West town halls in Akure for 21 and 22 October.

Obi-Kwankwaso campaign messages through Ilorin in a reported nine-kilometre procession. On Saturday, the party announced that it plans to inaugurate its Presidential Campaign Council on 20 October and hold a town hall in Enugu on 15 October.

In an interview on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief, Duke proposed reducing petrol to about ₦300 per litre by allocating part of Nigeria’s crude production for domestic consumption. He also called for a debate among presidential candidates.
Adewole Ebenezer Adebayo
Social Democratic Party (SDP):
In his World Teachers’ Day message, Adebayo called for better pay and conditions for teachers. On Wednesday, his campaign suspended rallies, town halls, stakeholder engagements and media appearances for a week following the fatal Nigerian Air Force aircraft crash in Ondo State.
Peter Agada
Young Progressive Party (YPP):
Agada presented a sector-by-sector development blueprint, and described his proposed approach to governing as project management, with an emphasis on local development and monitoring public projects.
