Tinubu wins Ringim APC presidential primary in Jigawa

President Bola Tinubu, on Saturday, emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primaries in the primary election conducted in Ringim Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

He won all the votes in the 10 wards of the local government, defeating his rival in Saturday’s primary election.

Announcing the results, the presiding officer in the LGA, Dr Surajo Musa, said that President Tinubu won the direct primaries with 15,670 votes, defeating his opponent, Dr Stanley Osifo, who scored 0 votes.

He said the direct primaries were conducted in the presence of INEC officials, security agencies, and other party stakeholders.

The council chairman, who is also a member of the primary election committee, commended the high turnout of party members.

According to him, “This election is a clear testimony that our people have confidence in President Tinubu and are ready to vote for him in the coming secondary education”

The chairman also assured that the promise made by Governor Umar Namadi to deliver about two million votes to Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election will be fulfilled.
