Transfer: Arsenal take decision on selling Gyokeres amid interest in Osimhen

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Arsenal are not planning to sell Viktor Gyokeres, even as they continue to be linked with other strikers, the UK Metro reports.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen and Julian Alvarez of Atletico Madrid.

Osimhen’s name has come up in negotiation talks between Arsenal and Galatasaray.

But the Premier League champions are yet to make a move for Alvarez who prefers to join Barcelona.

Barca have already seen a few offers rejected by their LaLiga rivals. This has made them identify Gyokeres as an alternative.

Gyokeres scored 21 goals in all competitions for Arsenal last season in all competitions, but failed to fully adjust to the demands of Premier League football.

Barcelona are yet to make contact with Arsenal or the former Sporting Lisbon centre forward’s representatives, but are poised to do.
