Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Ajax manager, Míchel Sánchez has showered encomium on Tolu Arokodare following the forward’s impressive performance in the club’s 4-2 victory over Sion.

Arokodare registered a goal, and an assist for the Eredivisie giants in the UEFA Europa Conference League playoff tie.

The Nigeria international replaced Marcos Leonardo in the 72nd minute.

The forward scored the visitors’ third goal of the keenly contested encounter two minutes later.

Arokodare then teed up Davy Klaassen for Ajax’s fourth goal three minutes from time

Sánchez was delighted with the striker’s contribution to his side’s victory.

“Tolu brought a lot of energy when he came on. He works hard, he scores and he helps us,” Michel told Ajax Life per Goal.

“He has a good character. I think he is a nice boy. I hope he keeps helping us in this way.”
