Eight countries have been eliminated from the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON, in Morocco.
They are Mali, Zambia, Cape Verde, Senegal, Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt and Burkina Faso.
Mali is the latest team to join the other seven teams out of the competition after playing a 1-1 draw with Ghana in their final Group D encounter on Thursday.
DAILY POST reports that Mali finished in third position behind Ghana and leaders, Cameroon.
Cameroon and Ghana progressed from the group to the quarter-final, where they will face Nigeria and Malawi, respectively.
