Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Flying Eagles head coach Abdu Maikaba has concluded his screening exercise and is now focused on building a team that will defend the title at the WAFU B U-20 Tournament, DAILY POST reports.

Maikaba’s side started preparations for the regional tournament earlier this month in Abuja.

The experienced tactician has now selected the players who will feature in the competition, which will be hosted by Côte d’Ivoire next month.

Nigeria has won the last two editions of the WAFU B tournament.

The competition will serve as the qualifier for the 2027 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Ghana will host the U-20 AFCON early next year.
