Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Morocco attacker midfielder, Ismael Saibari, on Wednesday night, became the first African player to score three goals in a single World Cup since Asamoah Gyan for Ghana in 2010.

Saibari achieved this feat after scoring a goal in Morocco’s 2026 World Cup 4-2 win against Haiti at Atlanta Stadium.

The 25-year-old has three goals so far at the World Cup, having scored against Scotland and Brazil, respectively.

Also, Saibari’s goal against Haiti made him become the first African player ever to score in each of his team’s three group matches at a World Cup, according to OptaJoe.

The PSV star has been impressive for Morocco so far at the World Cup and will hope to help his team in the Round of 32 stage.

Morocco finished in second position in Group C with seven points from three matches.

They are behind the group leader, Brazil, who also has seven points from three matches.
