Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Northern Ireland manager, Michael O’Neill, has predicted an ‘open game’ when Argentina face Spain in the World Cup final on Sunday.

O’Neill spoke to the FIFA Podcast ahead of Spain’s clash with Argentina at York New Jersey Stadium.

Spain qualified for the World Cup final after beating France 2-0 in the semi-final encounter.

Argentina, on the other hand, won 2-1  against England to progress to the final.

“I do think that we are not surprised by the final [Spain vs Argentina] that we have,” O’Neill said.

“I think we will have, hopefully, a great final and an open game as well, I think.”
