Nottingham Forest have dismissed head coach Sean Dyche after just 114 days in charge, marking the third such change at the City Ground this season. The club sit precariously in 17th place in the Premier League, three points above the relegation zone following a goalless draw with bottom-of-the-table Wolves.
The instability began early, with Nuno Espirito Santo sacked just 23 days into the season amid poor results. Ange Postecoglou replaced him but lasted only 39 days, departing after a winless run that included defensive collapses. Dyche arrived promising defensive solidity but oversaw just three league wins in 17 matches, with Forest struggling to convert chances despite heavy summer spending on attackers.
Owner Evangelos Marinakis has demanded swift improvement following last season's European qualification, but the club now eyes Vitor Pereira, formerly of Wolverhampton Wanderers, as a potential fourth manager ahead of Europa League commitments.
Tottenham Hotspur have also acted decisively, sacking Thomas Frank after eight months and only two wins in 17 league games. Spurs languish in 16th, five points clear of danger, prompting a search for a new manager or interim solution. The moves reflect growing impatience among Premier League owners amid high expectations and intense scrutiny.
