Resident doctors suspend 29-day nationwide strike

The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors, NARD, has called off its month-long nationwide strike, bringing an end to 29 days of disrupted medical services across the country. The industrial action, which commenced on November 1, 2025, was suspended on Saturday following an Extraordinary National Executive Council meeting.
