Local Government Elections Begin In Gombe

 

Local Government Elections have begun across Gombe State on Saturday.

 

 

Our correspondent, who is monitoring the exercise, noted that about six political parties have fielded candidates.

 

As of the time of filing this report, sensitive electoral materials and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were already on ground to cover the processes.

 

 

Civil society groups and other observers were also on ground, with a massive turnout of voters recorded across the state.
