Nigerian security forces have reportedly killed notorious bandit leader Kachalla Sani Yellow during a military operation in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The development was disclosed on Sunday by security analyst and crisis journalist Bakatsine in a post on X.
According to him, the operation targeted the notorious bandit leader, who had long been accused of orchestrating attacks across parts of Zamfara State.
“Nigerian security forces have reportedly eliminated notorious bandit leader Kachalla Sani Yellow during a military operation in Anka LGA of Zamfara State,” the post read in part.
Bakatsine also claimed that a graphic video allegedly showing the bandit leader’s body surfaced on social media but noted that he would not be sharing it because of its disturbing nature.
Sani Yellow was widely accused of masterminding numerous attacks and terrorising communities in Anka, Bukkuyum and Maru Local Government Areas of Zamfara State.
