Sporting CP coach, Rúi Borges, has dropped a Cristiano Ronaldo farewell bombshell, declaring the Portugal captain will say goodbye in the way he wants and understands.

Borges spoke at a press conference ahead of his side’s clash with Braga in the Portuguese domestic league on Friday.

According to him, people can’t fully comprehend what Ronaldo means to the world.

When asked about Ronaldo’s departure from the national team, Borges said of the Al-Nassr forward, “I will not comment on national team matters.

“As for Cristiano Ronaldo’s greatness, it’s not just at Sporting CP, but across the world. We can’t fully comprehend what Ronaldo means to the world.

“Cristiano will say farewell in the way he wants and understands. Beyond that, I just want to say that my admiration for him is immense.”
