Former Juventus midfielder, Miralem Pjanic, has picked a better player between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Bosnia and Herzegovina international discussed his career at the Trento Sports Festival and stated that he prefers Messi over Ronaldo.
The 36-year-old noted that Messi’s talent is inexplicable and a gift from God.
“Throughout my career, I have played alongside many talented players, with Messi and Ronaldo being particularly outstanding. Between these two aliens, I choose Messi,” Pjanic said.
“His talent is inexplicable, like a gift from God. He makes difficult things seem simple, which is astonishing. Ronaldo is equally special.”
Messi plays his club football for Inter Miami in the United States, while Ronaldo plays for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
The Argentine and the Portuguese have won 13 Ballon d’Or awards between themselves.
