Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy and Colombian singer Shakira delivered a live performance of Dai Dai, the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, during the tournament’s historic first-ever half-time show at the final between Argentina and Spain on Sunday.

The duo lit up the stage at New York New Jersey Stadium with a colourful performance featuring dancers and vibrant visuals, as fans around the world watched FIFA introduce a Super Bowl-style entertainment spectacle to the World Cup final.
Dai Dai, which was released as the tournament’s official anthem, celebrates unity through football and was one of the highlights of a star-studded half-time show that also featured performances and appearances from Madonna, Justin Bieber, BTS, Coldplay and others in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
