World Cup: ‘Richly deserved victory, Spain outclassed Argentina’ – Nigerian Presidency

President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has congratulated Spain over its victory at the just-concluded FIFA World Cup.

Onanuga described the victory of the Spanish football team as one well deserved.

Posting on X, the presidential aide said La Roja outclassed and overwhelmed the defending champions, Argentina.

According to Onanuga, the statistics of the match showed that the Spanish national team was the true champion.

He wrote: “Congratulations to Spain. Yours is a FIFA World Cup victory richly deserved. You completely outclassed and overwhelmed the defending champions, Argentina. The statistics clearly indicated that you are the true champions. #ESPARG”

Ferran Torres fired Spain to their second men’s World Cup triumph, as what may be Lionel Messi’s last dance ended in 10-man Argentina falling to a 1-0 defeat.
